Mom Question

Sorry no recipe, I need help that only mothers can give. What stain remover do you use?

I have always used spray and wash because that is what my Mom used. But I noticed something funny, it has never worked for me. But yet when I run out of stain remover I go to the store and come home with yet another bottle of spray and wash. It's a habit I guess.

What do you use? And what works better on what stains etc....

I have the same question. I've tried the spray and wash stick, oxy clean, and the yellow bar of soap (not sure what it's called) and none of them seem to work very well. When Savannah was having a lot of blow-outs, I would lay her clothes in the sun to dry and the sun acted as a natural bleach. But that's a difficult method to use in the winter.

I use Shout and I love it. It seems to work on pretty much anything.

Zout with oxyclean or let oxyclean sit at least overnight and I get the stains out.

I use Shout on little stains. On really tough stains I use Clorox II, which I buy at Costco. I just follow the directions on the back (you pour it directly on the stain and let it sit 5-10 minutes then then throw it in the wash.) It's the only thing i've found that gets out poop and other really gross stuff! In addition I always put a capful in with my whites and yucky towels/burp cloths etc to make sure they are super clean! I love it, hope that helps!
